Future Leaders programme will begin in mid October and continue until April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a group of 15 young people aged 14-16 years to get involved in a cross border initiative.

On completion young people receive a Bronze award.

There are three main elements to the programme: leadership skills, 2 weekend residentials  and a social action decided by the young people.

*  The residentials are where young people meet with their partner group and take part in fun group activities. All accommodation, meals and transport are provided. 1 weekend in Derry and 1 in Co. Clare)

The group will meet weekly for 1-1.5 hours at Youth Work Ireland Galway, Westside Youth project (Eircode H91 HDH6). Monday evenings after school during term time. There are two weekend residentials in November and March.
