MADRA rescues and rehomes over 400 dogs annually and an unexpected side effect of the Coronavirus pandemic has been fewer dogs arriving from the dog pounds. However, the dogs coming in need significant emotional or medical support before they can be rehomed. This has put additional pressure on resources when so many of our fundraisers have been curtailed due to Covid again this year.
