Hi and thanks for showing an interest in volunteering. Our service is designed to help you find a suitable and enjoyable volunteer role quickly. We promote volunteer opportunities for charities and community groups, so you quickly search the list of current vacancies. These are as up to date as possible, and all should be available.
You should also check out sections about why you should volunteer, and some things to think about before volunteering – these will help you make a good choice that will benefit everybody, including you!
Once you complete our registration form, you can apply directly for any volunteer role that is of interest to you. When you do this, the contact person receives your contact details, and you get theirs, but it’s up to them to contact you. At this stage you have only expressed an interest in the volunteer role, so you have made no major commitment yet.
If you can’t find anything suitable or would like more assistance, we can meet with in person in our Galway City Centre office or Gort outreach clinic. You are always more than welcome to pick up the phone and contact us as well, or use email, whichever you prefer.
